Isabella Dorfman

Isabella (she/her) is passionate about helping children and their families grow in their Jewish identities and engage in Jewish life. Originally from Newton, Massachusetts, Isabella graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 2017 with a degree in History with a focus on Modern Europe and the Holocaust. After graduation, she taught English in Jerusalem with Masa Israel Teaching Fellows. She began working at Makom in early 2019, and has been here ever since in various roles ranging from program assistant to substitute. Isabella concurrently works in live event management in the performing arts, in museum archives and collections, and as a dance teacher. She also recently began pursuing her Master’s of Social Work at Temple University. In her free time, Isabella loves dancing, martial arts, and riding her bicycle around the city.
